ANABI’s strategies and plans

According to art. 13 of Law no. 318/2015, the Coordination Council approves the Agency’s operational strategy, as presented by the General Director, at the beginning of each year.

This strategic document of ANABI will reflect short-term development objectives and measures that will be undertaking in order to reach the goals set forth by other public policy documents. Thus, once operational, ANABI’s activity will contribute to fulfill some important objectives assumed by Romania through national strategies and international commitments:


National Anticorruption Strategy 2016 – 2020

Specific Objective 1.2 - Increase of transparency in the public resources management processes.

Specific Objective 5.4 – Increase criminal asset recovery by using the best practices from other EU Member States and strengthening the judicial practice.


Development strategy of the judicial system 2015 – 2020

Specific objective 3.B.4 - Institutional strengthening of the judicial system – Increase of criminal asset recovery. 


Partnership for Open Governance - National Action Plan 2016 - 2018

Objective 12 - Increase transparency regarding management of seized assets.


London Summit - State commitments for accelerating the fight against corruption as a duty towards its citizens

Commitments on the recovery of proceeds of crime.
